One of my favorite things in Japan was the ice cream. They had awesome ice cream stands with millions of flavors.
Best cookies in Manhattan (Levain Bakery)
It’s no secret that Levain supposedly makes the best cookies in NYC. I’m dying to be the judge of that.
It’s never too early to stare lustfully at pictures of sandwiches. Check out our picks for the city’s best BLT’s, including this one from ’wichcraft that uses Pennsylvania tomatoes and applewood-smoked bacon. Yum.
I desperately want to try ‘wichcraft. I mostly think Collichio is a douche, but I can’t deny that his food looks awesome.
Oh, my loves. It’s been a while. You are two of my favorite things.
This image makes me drool.
Literally.
Taylor Ham, Egg, and Cheese, Alexis Diner, Randolph, NJ
Now I wouldn’t be the responsible Jersey girl that I am if I ran an entire sandwich blog without posting at least one picture of a Taylor Ham, Egg, and Cheese sandwich. Sadly, they didn’t have any hard rolls, though.
What am I looking forward to most about being back in New Jersey? Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich on a kaiser roll with ketchup.
If you aren’t from NJ you probably don’t know what Taylor Ham is. For that, I’m sorry. This is the tastiest pork substance you will ever put in your mouth.
shake shack double cheeseburger… 1,387th attempt of last fat Sunday dinner.
échoué (failed).
We will be staying dangerously close to a Shake Shack. You can bet your sweet ass I will be nomming on one of these bad boys.
Gray’s Papaya has the best hot dogs in all of NYC. Simple, straight forward frankfurter at a reasonable price. NYC landmark! The one on West 4th is my fave. Their fresh lemonades are amazing too!
No trip to NYC is complete without a trip to Gray’s Papaya.
